FAQs
Digisigns, answered
Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial, no credit card required. Here is everything else people ask before moving their screens to Digisigns, grouped by topic.
Getting started
Trials, content and first screens
Is Digisigns free to try?
Yes, every plan starts with a 14-day free trial with complete features. No credit card required; you only choose a plan when the trial ends. See pricing for what each plan includes.
What content can I show on my screens?
Images, videos, PDFs, web pages, YouTube (including live streams), social media feeds and widgets. You organise everything into playlists, schedule when each item plays, and publish to one screen or thousands.
How do I get my first screen live?
Sign up, install the free player app on your screen, and enter the pairing code the screen displays into your dashboard. Publish a playlist and you are live, the whole flow takes minutes, not days.
Why not just use a USB drive?
USB playback is free but unreliable for a business: content restarts when the power cycles, progress bars and player menus appear on screen, and every update means a walk to the TV. A signage CMS updates every screen remotely and tells you when one goes down.
What happens when my trial ends?
Your account, content and settings are preserved. Screens pause until you pick a plan, nothing is deleted, and you resume exactly where you left off.
Billing
Plans, payments and cancellation
How much does Digisigns cost?
Standard is $20 per screen per month ($220 billed yearly), Professional is $30 per screen per month ($330 yearly), and Enterprise is custom priced. Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial, full details on the pricing page.
What payment methods do you accept?
Payments run on Stripe: all major credit and debit cards, plus net-banking, Paytm and UPI for customers in India.
Is annual billing cheaper?
Yes, $220 per screen per year on Standard (vs $240 paid monthly) and $330 on Professional (vs $360 paid monthly): roughly one month free.
Can I cancel my subscription anytime?
Yes. Cancel whenever you like; your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period, per our refund policy.
Devices
Screens, players and hardware
What screens does Digisigns support?
Most smart screens work. Digisigns runs on 10 player platforms: Android, Windows, Linux, macOS (arm64), LG webOS, Samsung Tizen, NovaStar and Colorlight LED controllers, ChromeOS, and a browser-based Web Player. See all platforms.
Do I need to buy special hardware?
No proprietary box required. Install the free player app on the screens and devices you already own, smart TVs, Android boxes, Windows PCs, LED controllers, or use the browser Web Player. If you do need displays, our end-to-end solution supplies hardware too.
What happens if a screen goes offline?
Digisigns emails you automatically when a screen goes offline. Players cache content locally so playback continues through short network drops, and the dashboard shows live status and an uptime timeline for every screen.
