No. Open the Web Player in a modern browser, enter its pairing code in your Digisigns dashboard, and publish. That is the whole setup.
Is the Web Player suitable for permanent 24/7 screens?
It can run continuously, but it depends on a browser tab staying open and connected. For unattended 24/7 screens we recommend a native player, Android, Windows, Tizen, webOS, Linux or macOS, which adds cached playback and remote device controls.
Which devices can run the Web Player?
Any device with a current mainstream browser: laptops and desktops on any operating system, plus smart displays that ship with a browser. It is also the supported route for Intel Macs.
Does the Web Player cost extra?
No. A web-player screen is billed like any other screen, from $20 per screen per month ($220 per year) after the 14-day free trial, no credit card required to start.
