The challenge
KPIs lived inside BI tools that most staff never opened, and internal comms went out as emails that most staff never read. The screens already installed at HQ ran static slides updated quarterly, IT walked floors with USB sticks to fix them, and the security team had blocked earlier signage tools that offered no access control or audit trail.
What we deployed
Floor screens moved to Studio layouts built around the Power BI widget, which embeds live reports directly on screen, numbers refresh without anyone logging in at the display. Around the dashboards sit a market ticker, clock and weather zones, with a scrolling announcements overlay for internal comms and separate playlists per floor on the schedule. IT manages everything remotely from the Digisigns CMS: restarts, brightness, remote screenshots to see what a screen is showing, and power schedules that shut the fleet down for nights and weekends. The security team got what it asked for, two-factor authentication, role-based access with scoped sub-users, full audit logs, and an ISO 27001-certified, VAPT-tested platform.
Dashboards without the logins
The Power BI widget embeds live reports straight into a Studio layout, so floor screens show current numbers without anyone opening a BI tool at the display. Around them: a market ticker, clock and weather zones, plus a scrolling announcements overlay for internal comms. IT said yes because the controls exist, 2FA, role-based access, audit logs, and an ISO 27001-certified, VAPT-tested platform, and because power schedules and remote restarts removed the floor walks.
